Continuing my journey

My journey as an artist didn't really start until much later in my life I was in my 50's. My kids were grown and I was alone most of the time. You can say I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I needed an outlet. Creating became my new obsession.

"Don't listen to what others say" I told myself, "painting is what you want to do so "Do It". I took the bull by the horn and jumped.

Life has a way of putting into your path those things that are meant for you. I would have never become a perfectional artist and business owner if it hadn't been for the struggles that I was faced with. After almost 30 years of marriage I was getting divorced, not by choice but out of necessity. My painting was and is the only thing that keeps me sane and happy at this point of my life.
