I am Debi Hedges, a realistic artist.  I sign my art using DHedges.  I moved from my native state of Colorado to the warm state of Florida a couple of years ago to be closer to my children and grandchildren.

I am a self taught artist who has been painting professionally for about 7 years. My chosen mediums are charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, pastels, {I even like to mix them :}. 

I have found that you can paint on almost anything.  I've painted on wood planks, fence posts, glasses, pots and pans, metal, ceramic tiles, mirrors and regular canvases.  Through the years I have developed a love for black paper and wood canvas panels. 

My art is my passion for all that is and my goal is to capture meaning.
